(Wyo)-Teen Charged As Accessory In Death Of Man Found In Reservoir
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming authorities have arrested a 17-year-old male and are searching for 21-year-old male in connection with the death of a man found dead early Sunday afternoon in a reservoir west of Cheyenne, not far from his mother's burned-out car.
Laramie County Sheriff's Captain Linda Gesell says the 17-year-old faces two accessory counts, one before the act of arson and one after the fact of 1st degree murder in connection with the death of Justin Robinson
Captain Gesell told the Wyoming Eagle Tribune that authorities are seeking the public's help in locating 21-year-old Armando Raul Ramirez-Serna for questioning in the investigation, but she warns not to make contact with him and to use extreme caution if they see him.
Gesell says deputies believe Robinson and Ramirez-Serna were acquaintances and may have been together last weekend, resulting in "foul play related to narcotics." Although Robinson wsa found in the reservoir, deputies are working to prove that he was killed elsewhere around midnight Saturday night.
Gesell says deputies responding to 12:32 reports of shots fired at the other location found a stolen handgun and blood on the road while witnesses described a vehicle that had been there earlier. Investigators are waiting for fingerprint and DNA results.
A SWAT team was sent to Ramirez-Serna's registered address in east Cheyenne on Thursday afternoon, but found only his car. Neighbors told officers they hadn't seen Ramirez-Serna in at least four days.
