(SD)-Rapid City Collision Claims One Life
RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - The South Dakota Highway Patrol says one man was killed and another injured in a two-vehicle crash last night on Sheridan Lake Road in Rapid City. No names have been released and each man was alone in his vehicle.
The Highway Patrol says a 25-year old man was eastbound on Sheridan Lake Road about 8:20 PM
when he lost control of his car on a curve near Dunsmore Road, overcorrected, and went into the other lane where he collided with an SUV.
He was pronounced dead at the scene whle the 49-year old driver of the SUV was wearing a seat belt and was taken to Rapid City Regional Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
