(Neb)-Charges Filed In July 4 Accident That Killed 4 Motorcycle Riders
OGALLALA, Neb. (AP) - A Kansas man has been charged with 4 counts of vehicular homicide for the July 4th crash near Lake McConaughy that killed 4 Iowa motorcycle riders. 22-year-old Jeser Cisneros-Hernandez of Liberal remains in custody in the Keith County jail.
Authorities say Cisneros-Hernandez crossed the center line on Highway 26 and hit 2 motorcycles, each carrying a couple...54-year-old Sheila and 61-year-old James Matheny from Bedford and 58-year-old Michal and 59-year-old Jerolyn Weese of Council Bluffs.
Cisneros-Hernandez told investigators that he'd had little rest the day of the crash while driving from his workplace in Sidney, Montana, home to Kansas.
