(SD)- I-90 Crash Near Rapid City Claims Life
RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a 2-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 in the Rapid City area Wednesday morning claimed one life. Names have not yet been released.
The Highway Patrol says the victim was a 71-year old woman who was trying to pass a semi about 4-miles west of Rapid City.
The Patrol says she clipped the corner of the semi as she moved back into the driving lane and the impact sent her vehicle into the ditch, where it rolled and she was thrown out.
She was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The 26-year old man driving the semi was not injured.
