(Neb)-Ivy Day Opens Graduation Weekend At CSC
CHADRON - Graduation Weekend at Chadron State College begins tonight with the traditional Ivy Day program recognizing outstanding seniors at 7:00 in the Memorial Hall Auditorium. It can be streamed live at chadronstate.tv.
Special awards will be presented for outstanding achievement in academics, athletics, service, and extracurricular activities during their college careers. Some recipients actually graduated last December.

Traditionally, a king and a queen are crowned at Ivy Day...a ceremony that dates back to the early days of Chadron State...with the candidates nominated from among senior members of Blue Key and Cardinal Key, which sponsor Ivy Day.
All 5 of this year's queen candidates are from Nebraska - Teryn Blessin of Greenwood, Leyna Brummels of Ewing, Mariah Conyers of Bellwood, Sara Marlatt of Wood Lake, and Larissa Hastings of Chadron.
Four of the king candidates are also Nebraskans - Coy Clark of Benkelman, Garret Dockweiler of Oconto, Justin German of Imperial, and Regg Strotheide of Rushville. The fifth is Colton Wright of Albin, Wyo.
