(Neb)-Stars Of Tomorrow Today
CHADRON - The annual Chadron Kiwanis Club Stars of Tomorrow talent contest is this afternoon (Sunday) at 3 p.m. in the Chadron High School Auditorium. There will be a dozen entries in the talent show.
Competition is held in four age categories, but with 5 of this year's 12 entries in the senior or Division IV - 10th-12th grades - the day's program will be different than in most years.
The top three entries in all four divisions will receive trophies while the Division IV winner will receive a $150 scholarship and the right to advance to the Rocky Mountain District Stars of Tomorrow show on Sunday, May 17 in Loveland, Colo.
Admission is $3 for adults with proceeds being donated to the new Diaper Bank being developed in Chadron. It's based on a highly successful program in Scottsbluff that provides free disposable diapers to low-income families
