(Neb.)-Chadron To Start Comprehensive Plan Study Monday Listen
(Chadron)-Starting Monday, the city of Chadron will be conducting a 3 day study and interview session as part of the process to update the city’s comprehensive plan.
In July, the city engaged the Lakota Group, a planning and urban design firm based in Chicago, Illinois. The group will be assisting the city in developing the comprehensive plan.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the city and Lakota Group will be conducting a series of stakeholder interview sessions to discuss issues and opportunities related to planning Chadron’s future. These meeting are held for several different businesses and organizations. They are by invite only.
The public will get an opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas as well. An open session for the public will be held Tuesday afternoon from 4:30 P.M. to 5:15 P.M. at the city hall council chambers.
