(S.D.)-Rapid City Woman Arrested For Several Offenses Near Edgemont
(Edgemont)-On Tuesday at 5:00 p.m., a vehicle not bearing license plates was stopped near Edgemont South Dakota. A raw marijuana odor from inside the vehicle was detected by the South Dakota Highway Patrol officer. The Trooper also detected that the driver had been drinking alcohol. During a search of the vehicle, hashish, marijuana and two marijuana pipes were found. A field sobriety test was conducted and the driver failed. In addition, an open container of alcohol was located in the vehicle.
The driver was 31 year old Jonalynne Gramling of Rapid City. She was allegedly arrested for 2nd offense driving under the influence of alcohol, open container, no driver’s license, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The passenger was 75 year old William H. Siers of San Francisco, CA. He was allegedly arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
This case is still under investigation. Both the driver and the passenger were taken to the Fall River County Jail.
