(S.D.)-Results Of First Tests At Underground Lab Ready For Release
LEAD, S.D. (AP) - Researchers at the state's underground science lab in the old Homestake mine in Lead are ready to announce the first results from an experiment.
Physicists with the Large Underground Xenon dark matter detector will release their findings on Wednesday at the Sanford Underground Research Facility.
The LUX experiment is looking for dark matter, a mysterious substance thought to be the predominant form of matter in the universe.
