(Wyo.)-Two School District Employees Face Fraud Charges In Gillette

By: Roxie Graham-Marski Posted at: 10/22/2013 02:25 PM
GILLETTE, Wyo. (ASSOCIATED PRESS) - Two former Campbell County school district employees have been accused of charging personal gas expenses on school district gas cards.

Heather Dahlke and Wayne Patches are both charged with embezzlement and conspiracy to commit embezzlement.

Their cases have been bound over to District Court where they will get their first chance to enter pleas.

Authorities accuse the two of charging more than $5,400 in gas to a school district gas card between February 2012 and February 2013.

Dahlke was previously a parts manager for the district and Patches was a shop manager for the school bus garage.

Court documents say it was Dahlke's responsibility to keep track of the district's gas cards and receipts to make sure there was no unauthorized use.
