(CRAWFORD)-Kenny Groves with TreeDoc wishes to remind Crawford residents to stay out of the city park while clean-up efforts continue. The park has been closed since the snowstorm that slammed the region with heavy, wet snow and high winds over two weeks ago. Groves says some residents have been going around the tape that has been strung in an effort to cordone off the area, and have been walking around looking up at the damage. Groves says tree branches, such as ones from some of the park’s cottonwood trees, are very heavy, and many are hanging precariously by a thread. He said they could decide to let go and fall at any time. He cautioned that it is very dangerous right now as the branches have the potential of causing severe damage to person or vehicle when they decide to fall.
