(Neb.)-Chadron City Council To Meet Monday Evening
(CHADRON)-The Chadron city council will convene Monday evening at City Hall council chambers, 234 Main St. On the agenda, discussion of employee salaries for the upcoming year and a resolution to adopt the salary schedule for Fiscal Year 2013-2014, as well as a resolution to approve amendment no. 1 to the Community Development Block Grant contract for phase one, the planning phase, of the Downtown Revitalization Project.
The council will also decide whether or not to adopt procurement procedures and code of conduct to be used in connection with CDBG projects. Also on the agenda, resolutions declaring city property, including an L-shaped building at the city water plant on South Maple Street, as surplus and authorize for their sale or disposal.
Several special designated license requests will be brought before the council as well as several reports from various entities. There will also be a presentation of a painting by Sheila Orr entitled, “The End of the Drive,” in connection with the city’s 125th celebration, a fraternal order of police request for recognition, and two portions of sidewalk in the 400 block of West Second Street that require repair.
The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. and is open to the public.
