(Neb.)-Dawes And Sioux Commissioners To Meet Next Week
(Chadron)-County Commissioners for both Sioux and Dawes Counties will be meeting after the Labor Day holiday. On Tuesday, the Sioux County Commissioners will be meeting in regular session beginning at 9 am, and on Wednesday, the Dawes County Board will meet, beginning at 9 am as well.
On the agenda for Sioux County are several regular reports from county officials, which will take up the main portion of the morning. After lunch, the commissioners will meet as the Board of Equalization before hearing from the Road Department, and conducting a public budget hearing, which is scheduled to begin at 1:30 pm.
The following day, the Dawes County Commissioners will convene as the Board of Equalization at 9 am, with the regular meeting to follow at 9:20. LeAnn Anderson with First National Bank North Platte will discuss investment options for the County with the Board beginning at 10 am, followed by reports from Highway Superintendent Larry Hankin and Larry McCaslin. Executive session is scheduled for 11 am, followed by an update from Lacy Peterson with Human Resources.
