(Neb.)-Area Residents Asked To Be On Lookout For Robbery Suspect
(Chadron)-Dawes County Residents received either an email, telephone message or text message this morning (Tuesday) regarding a suspect in a bank robbery in Lusk, Wyoming. The robbery occurred on Monday afternoon, and as of Tuesday morning, the suspect was still at large.
The alert gave the description of the suspect, listed as being a white male, between the ages of 40 and 50 years old, approximately 6’3” tall, and 160-170 pounds. He is described as being clean shaven, with dark hair and glasses. According to the Dawes County Sheriff’s Office, who sent out the alert, the reason the description was sent to Dawes County residents is that the proximity of the crime was close to the area, and the suspect may be headed east.
Residents are assured that there is no imminent danger, but law enforcement would like people to keep their eyes open for anyone matching this description or if they notice anything suspicious. The suspect was reportedly last seen near a stopped train, and the vehicle he was reported to be driving had been found wrecked.
Anyone who believes they may have any information in Dawes County are urged to call the Sheriff’s Office at 308-432-3025.
