(S.D.)-Woman Pleads Not Guilty To Starting Fire In Boyfriend's Home
RAPID CITY, S.D. (ASSOCIATED PRESS) - A Rapid City woman accused of starting a fire in her boyfriend's bedroom has pleaded not guilty to arson and reckless burning charges.
Twenty-six-year-old Allison Hedrick can be convicted of either arson or reckless burning but not both. Hedrick is accused of lighting a fire inside a home on Feb. 19.
She is currently free on $10,000 bond. Arson carries a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison and a $50,000 fine. The reckless burning charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
