(Neb.)-Fur Trade Kiddie Carnival Seeking Donations
(Chadron)-Many of the events during Fur Trade Days are family friendly, including a Kiddie Carnival, sponsored by the Professional Social Work Program students at Chadron State College.
The students will be hosting the event during Fur Trade Days, and are asking the community for help to round up prizes for the games. They are asking for toys such as stuffed animals, games, books, toy cars and any other unused toys people may have. They are asking that the toys be in good condition.
The students will haul the donated items. The fundraiser is in support of the Professional Social Work students' conference on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in Veterans. The conference will address standing issues that veterans with PTSD struggle with, hopes for increased awareness, and education for veterans, families, and the general population. For more information on the conference, or to make a donation, contact Alicia at 308-615-0052 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org..
