(Neb.)- Chadron City Council To Meet Monday
(Chadron)- The Chadron City Council will meet Monday, May 20th at 6:00 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall. Items on the agenda include proclamations for Chadron Poppy Day, Foster Care Month, and National Missing Children’s Day.
Junice Dagen and Sharon Rickenbach will submit a request for permission to use Greenwood Cemetery and the authorization of blocking off the north entrance for walking tours during Fur Trade Days.
Collette Fernadez of the Chamber of Commerce will give an update and report. Deb Cottier of the Nebraska Northwest Development Corporation will also give an update and report. Other reports to be delivered will include library director Rosella Tesch of the Chadron Public Library and police chief Tim Lordino with the Chadron Police Department.
The board will vote to accept an audit for the fiscal year of 2011-12 and an approval of claim for the Panhandle Veterinary Clinic.
The meeting is open to the public, and an agenda can be found at the city clerks office.
