(Neb.)-Hudson-Meng To Open For Season May 25th
(Crawford)- The Hudson-Meng Education and ResearchCenter will open Saturday, May 25 for an exciting season featuring new interpretative programs and several unique events.
Dennis Kuhnel, Center Director, has also announced that Hudson-Meng will work in tandem with area partners, including the Fossil Freeway Coalition, Nebraska State Game and Parks and the Prehistoric Prairie Discovery Committee, to host public lectures and meetings.
Beginning Memorial Day Weekend, Hudson-Meng will be open seven days a week, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Fees are $5 for adults; $4.50 for seniors, $3 for children ages 5 – 12, and age 4 and under is free. No credit cards are accepted at the center, cash and checks are welcome. Under a special program of the Forest Service, 95% of fees collected at the site are used to develop more recreational and educational opportunities on the Nebraska National Forests & Grasslands.
