(Neb.)-Dawes County Sheriff Encourages Residents To Stay Off Roads  Listen

By: Roxie Graham-Marski Posted at: 04/10/2013 03:11 PM

(DAWES COUNTY)-Dawes County Sheriff Karl Dailey is advising residents to stay at home today and this evening (Wednesday) if at all possible as opposed to venturing out and possibly getting stuck or stranded. Although most highways have been reopened now and crews are making some progress with road clean-up, Dailey says the snow is still coming down off and on and roads are still pretty messy.

If you still venture out and find yourself off the road or stuck, Chadron E911 supervisor Tony Serboursek says to go ahead and call 911, even if it’s a non-emergency. Or if you have a question or need other assistance, call the Dawes County Sheriff's office at 432-0113 or the Chadron police department at 432-0510.
