(Neb.)-I-80 And Portions of I-90 Now Open

The Following highways are NOW OPEN:
ALL of I-80 in Nebraska is NOW OPEN.
All of Hwy. 30 in Nebraska is NOW OPEN. The roadway is still very slick and traffic MUST reduce speeds.
Hwy 71 is expected to open later this afternoon; we will keep you updated. 
 
The following highways are still closed:
Hwy 71 from the Colorado State Line to LawnChurch (26 miles south of Crawford)
Hwy 88 from Bridgeport to the Wyoming Line
L7E from Hemingford to Hwy 87 (16 mile corner)
 
Travel is not allowed on any of the closed segments. It is expected that most of the closed segments to be opening throughout the day. Please drive slowly and allow extra time for your trip. The roads are very slick, and visibility can still be a problem in localized areas.

South Dakota Department of Transportation officials have announced that Interstate 90 between Rapid City and Wall has reopened.
 
     Interstate 90 between Wall and Mitchell remains closed. There is no estimated time for it to be reopened. Crews are working to clear a number of stuck vehicles east of Wall. Officials closed Interstate 90 from Rapid City to Sioux Falls Tuesday night due to snow and ice.
 
     Officials say it is unknown when additional interstate openings will occur.
