(Neb.)-Street Crews Continue Work, Snow Emergency Declared For Wednesday

(Chadron)- Chadron Public Works Director Milo Rust has told KCSR News that there will be a snow emergency declared for Wednesday, April 10th starting at 4:00 a.m. 
Rust said that crews will continue making passes on city streets through the mid-afternoon hours, but said that falling and blowing snow are causing streets to fill back in will drifts and piles of snow.
When a snow emergency is issued, all vehicles, boats, trailers and motor homes must be moved off the designated emergency snow routes.
The emergency snow routes are:
--Main Street from 1st St. to 5th St.
--Chadron Ave. from 1st St. to 3rd St.
--Morehead St. from 2nd St. to 3rd St.
--2nd St. from Bordeaux St. to Morehead St.
--3rd St. from King St. west to Mears St.
