(Neb.)-Radon Expert To Speak At Chadron State Regarding Home Prevention
(CHADRON)-Radon has become a prevalent problem for many home owners in the United States, and a wide variety of people worry about whether their home has high radon levels and what to do if it does. Radon is a radioactive gas that has been identified as a carcinogen, so the worry is real. Residents need to be aware of radon and the best possible responses to its presence in a home or business.
The Chadron State College Natural Science Club has invited Mark Versch, an analyst from the Nebraska Radon Program, to speak about radon in the environment and how to prevent it from entering homes. The event will be held on Wednesday, March 20th at 7:30 p.m. in the Scottsbluff room of the CSCStudentCenter. The event is free, and everyone is invited to attend.
