(Neb.)-Northwest Community Action Partnership Conducts Needs Assessment
(NORTHERN PANHANDLE)-Northwest Community Action Partnership (NCAP) is currently in the process of conducting a needs assessment in Dawes, Sheridan, Sioux, Box Butte, and Cherry counties. Part of the requirements for the community service block grant that NCAP receives includes that the agency conduct a needs assessment every three years. The collected data will be used by NCAP and made available to other agencies in the area so that offered services can be evaluated. The assessment makes it possible for NCAP to make changes to the services they offer, and possibly provide additional services if necessary. A few of the areas that are evaluated include employment, early childhood education, adult education, day care, and youth and senior activities.
This year, the survey is available in an online format. Residents of Dawes, Sheridan, Sioux, Box Butte, and Cherry counties who have information to share with NCAP are encouraged to visit www.surveymonkey.com/s/NWCAP by April 5th to complete the survey. For more information, contact Brenda Fritzler at the NCAP office in Chadron at 308-432-3393, ext 30.
