 (Neb.)-Alan Connell To Be Welcomed As New VSO
(Chadron)-After serving 26 years as a Veterans Service Officer board member, Alan Connell is the new Veterans Service Officer in Dawes County.
Connell, who will have a welcome party on Friday says, “Things are going a lot better than expected, but there is still a lot to learn.” When asked about the outreach to the community Connell said, “The response has been good, we have had a lot of people coming through our doors.”
On average Connell says they’ll have around ten people come through the doors during the day.
There will be a welcoming party for Alan Connell to recognize him as the new VSO this Friday, February 1st from 2-4 p.m. at 250 Main St. Suite #9.
