(Neb.)-Sheridan County Commissioners To Meet Monday Morning
(SHERIDAN COUNTY)-The Sheridan County Commissioners will meet at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, January 14th in the Commissioners Room of the Sheridan County Courthouse. On the agenda, Director of Generations of Volunteer Efforts Barb Van Kerrebrook will report on the accomplishments of the organization and discuss how the volunteers may be of assistance in implementing a county website at 9:00 a.m. The commissioners will discuss meeting dates for the upcoming year, audit claims, and set a date for the 1- and 6-year roads hearing. There will also be the opening of bids for trailers, crack sealing, and hauling of rock, followed by a presentation by Highway Superintendent Tom Kuester about road department issues.
At 10:00 a.m., Deb Dopheide of Keep Alliance Beautiful is scheduled to make a presentation about the tire amnesty program in Box Butte County, which they would like to make available to Sheridan County residents. The commissioners will also review state audit requirements as they apply to wireless E-911 funds.
All meetings are open to the public, and visitors are always welcome. A complete agenda is kept continuously current in the office of the Sheridan County Clerk and can be amended up to 24 hours prior to the meeting. Minutes of previous meetings can be found at www.sheridancountynebraska.com.
