(Neb.)-Projects, Possibilities Ahead In 2013 For City Of Chadron  Listen

(CHADRON)-A new year has indeed begun, and Chadron city manager Wayne Anderson says with it comes new opportunities to make Chadron shine. He mentioned at the city council meeting this week that he is excited to see what all the new year holds for the city.

Anderson said the projects the council is considering would spruce up the city and possibly attract new business and tourists.

With the state on board to help with funding, Anderson says much can be accomplished.

Another project, an upgraded city swimming pool, is in the works as a possibility as well.

Vice mayor Levi Grant says that the ideas are there. Now all that remains is finding viable ways to financially afford the projects.

The workshop will be held Tuesday, January 15th, at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall council chambers, 234 Main Street. It is open to the public.
