(S.D.)-Former Senator, State Supreme Court Justice Dies

     RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Two-time state senator and South Dakota Supreme Court justice Frank Henderson has died. He was 84.
 
     According to the Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home, Henderson died Friday at the Sheridan, Wyo., Veterans Affairs Medical Center Home.
 
     John Henderson, one the justice's eight children with wife Norma, says that his father was a man of conviction.
 
     Frank Henderson fought in the Korean War, an experience that gave him post-traumatic stress disorder for decades. He suffered Alzheimer's disease in his final days.
 
     Visitation will be from 4:00-5:00 p.m. New Year's Day at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Hill City, followed by a Christian wake service and rosary at 5:00 p.m.
 
     A burial mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
