Twenty-three-year-old Bruno Hernandez was found guilty this week in Scotts Bluff County District Court of two counts of being a fugitive in possession of a firearm.
Police say Hernandez, of Fort Lupton, Colo., was captured Dec. 15, 2011, at a Scottsbluff motel and that two rifles, ammunition and suspected drugs were found in his room.
A Colorado warrant for Hernandez charged him with failing to appear on charges of attempted first-degree murder, witness tampering and a weapons charge.
