(CHADRON)-On Tuesday, December 18th, Chadron Public School volunteers will be demolishing Room 103 in the middle school, formerly known as Industrial Tech. Volunteer Jerry Moss has agreed to lead the project, and more volunteers are needed. The group will start working at 8:00 a.m. Volunteers are asked to bring a hammer, pry-bar, and an assortment of screwdrivers so they utilize their own tools. The school district will provide volunteers with free breakfast, lunch, snacks, goggles, and masks. All volunteers are asked to please check in at the middle school office on the second floor.
School superintendent Dr. Caroline Winchester says the middle school needs more classroom space and a place where students can go before school starts when the weather is bad. The new area can also double as a place for middle school students to eat their breakfast.
