(Neb.)-Immigrant Seminar Series Continues

(Chadron)- The seminar series “20th Century Immigrants of the Panhandle of Nebraska” continues Friday, Dec. 7, at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Panhandle Research and Extension Center. Shirley Flack will present “The Germans from Russia.”
The talk will begin at 3 p.m. in the Auditorium at the Panhandle Research and Extension Center, 4502 Avenue I. It is free and open to the public.
The Germans from Russia are one of several groups of immigrants who began moving to the North Platte Valley about 100 years ago helped make the area what it is today. Earlier seminars covered Japanese immigrants and the Mexican People of the Panhandle.
