(Neb.)-FALCO Adds New Accounting Staff
(Chadron)-Fred A. Lockwood and Company in Chadron have recently expanded their staff, with the addition of three new staff members. Eileen Olson has been hired as a paraprofessional/staff accountant in the Chadron office and her bookkeeping and tax business, Eileen Olson Accounting, has been acquired by FALCO. Eileen graduated from Chadron State College in 1995 with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration with an accounting option. In December 2007, she opened her own accounting business doing bookkeeping, sales tax, payroll and income tax.
Managing partner Jim Gardner said that FALCO is excited about the acquisition of the accounting and payroll practice and expanding the Firm’s offerings in these related services, including expanding client accounting and payroll services to the Cloud.
In addition to Olson, FALCO has hired two other accountants, Michael Coomes and Tianna Lang in the Chadron, Nebraska office. Coomes has been hired as a staff accountant after he recently completed his accounting degree from NationalUniversity in Rapid City. He has passed three of the four parts of the CPA exam and plans to complete the final part in the near future. Coomes operated his own business, Mike’s Pioneer Service in Whiteclay, NE from 1996 to 2008 before selling it to pursue a degree in accounting. He and his family live in Rushville, NE.
Tianna Lang has been hired as a senior accountant in the Chadron office. She is a 2009 graduate of UnionCollege in Lincoln and has worked for Kennedy and Coe in Loveland, CO for the past 3 years. Lang has passed all 4 parts of the CPA exam and will be a licensed CPA in Colorado and is pursuing her license in Nebraska. Her prior experience includes agribusiness taxation and payroll.
