(Wind Cave National Park, S.D.) - Wind Cave National Park will offer free tours over Veterans Day Weekend in honor of U.S. veterans and current members of the U.S. Armed Force.

Tours will be offered at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. Saturday, November 10th, through Monday, November 12th. Visitors will walk along the Garden of Eden Tour Route and view boxwork formations for which the cave is famous.

This 1/4-mile tour is moderately strenuous with approximately 150 steps and lasts one hour. “We invite all our visitors to enjoy their national parks on this holiday weekend while pausing to remember the sacrifices of our service men and women,” said park superintendent Vidal Davila.

All tours begin at the visitor center located ½-mile off US Highway 385. For more information, please contact Wind Cave National Park at605-745-4600.
