(Neb.)-Crestview Care Center And Other Lantis Facilities Changing Management

(CHADRON)-Lantis Enterprises of Spearfish, S.D., and Mission Healthcare of Edina, Minn., have announced that they have signed agreements for Mission Healthcare to add Lantis-operated facilities to the Mission Healthcare family of companies. Crestview Care Center in Chadron is one the facilities that has been operated by Lantis and will now have Mission Healthcare at the helm.
Mission Healthcare is currently a provider in Minnesota, South Dakota, and Wyoming and has 14 long-term skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Under the agreement, Mission Healthcare will lease an additional 36 facilities in the Northern Rocky Mountain and North-Central Plains regions. This will include 22 skilled nursing facilities, 6 Alzheimer’s units, 14 personal care/assisted living centers, 6 home health agencies and 2 facility based therapy clinics. Lantis will serve as the Real Estate Investment Company for Lantis-owned locations.
Lantis Enterprises President Mary Ellen Lantis said, “The Lantis family is pleased to have Mission Healthcare carry forward our vision of quality care with respect, dignity and kindness. Paul Contris, Thomas Boerboom and the Mission leadership team are a complement to our organization. Mission Healthcare will retain the majority of the Lantis Management team and all facility-based employees should be transferred prior to year end 2012. Mission Healthcare will continue using the Premier vendors already in place.”
Chief Operating Officer for Mission Healthcare Thomas Boerboom said, “We are excited with this opportunity to combine the Lantis organization with Mission Healthcare. Strategically, it’s a great fit and meets our goals of expanding our post-acute network of specialty services.”
