(S.D.)-Sheep Symposium To Be Held In Lead At The End Of The Month
LEAD, S.D. (ASSOCIATED PRESS)–The SDSU Extension and the South Dakota Sheep Growers Association will host a sheep symposium in Lead at the end of this month.
The Northern Plains Sheep Symposium will be part of the 75th annual SDSGA Convention at the Days Inn on Sept. 28-29.
Extension specialists, industry experts and government agencies from the Dakotas, Montana, Wyoming, Minnesota and Colorado will cover such topics as sheep reproduction, nutrition, health, wool and marketing.
The two-day event will culminate with a fresh American lamb banquet and wrap up with the state finals for the Make it Yourself with Wool program.
Registration for Sept. 28 is $25 per operation. For Sept. 29, attendees will only need to pay for a meal ticket if they plan to attend the luncheon and banquet.
