(CHADRON)-Chadron State Park is celebrating its 91st birthday this weekend with activities for the entire family. Park events are scheduled for Saturday from 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
The day will feature an antique tractor show, parade, and pull. There will also be free paddle boat rides and races, an air house and jeep rides. The park pool, which recently underwent restoration, will be open as well.
Buffalo sloppy joes will be offered for 91 cents for those working up an appetite by participating in events such as archery, bouncey horse races, weaving or trail rides. There will also be a live band and free watermelon. Although many of the activities are free of charge, a park permit is required for entry.
