(Neb.) - Man arrested in Chadron on multiple charges

CHADRON – The Chadron Police Department arrested a 19 year old male Thursday and charged him with two misdemeanors and a felony.

Authorities responded to a domestic assault complaint at Regency Court in Chadron and found a female had been assaulted. Mareno R. Waters was found hiding in a nearby tree row and was taken into custody.

Waters is charged with Strangulation, a class IV Felony, Domestic Assault, a class I misdemeanor, and Minor in Possession of Alcohol, a class III misdemeanor.

Waters is currently being held at the Dawes Count Jail, bond is pending.
