(Neb.) - Two transported in accident involving car and motorcycle
CHADRON - Two individuals were transported to the Chadron Hospital after an accident involving a car and motorcycle Sunday afternoon at the intersection of 6th Street and Highway 385.
The two transported were both occupants of the motorcycle, which was licensed to Dawes County. Chadron Police Department officer Bryan Linegar called the injuries "non-life threatening at this time." There was minor damage to the motorcycle.
A man and a woman were driving a red Buick Lacrosse, which was also involved in the accident. They did not suffer any injuries. The car, which had Texas in-transits, had minor damage.
Linegar could not provide details of how the accident happened because the investigation was ongoing. Details of the accident are expected by Monday.
The Chadron ambulance was dispatched at 1:18 p.m. and arrived on scene at 1:25 p.m.
The Chadron Police Department was assisted by the Nebraska State Patrol in the accident investigation.
We will have more details as they become available.
