(Neb.)-Increase In State Aid, Decrease In Spending Authority For Chadron School District Listen
(CHADRON)-School superintendent Caroline Winchester says the Chadron school district will be receiving an increase in state aid this coming year. She says any extra amount is a benefit.
Winchester says legislators passed a couple of other bills that will also impact area schools.
Winchester says part of that form will make sure the student realizes that if they leave school without a diploma, their anticipated income over their lifetime will be significantly reduced.
Winchester said two other legislative items will be certified on May 1st, the percentage amount that the district is allowed to have in cash reserves and their spending authority, which Winchester says will be decreased over a year ago because of its inclusion in the state aid bill.
