(Neb.)-Chadron School Board Renews Superintendent Contract, Will Receive Extra State Aid
(CHADRON)-It was busy night at the Chadron school board Wednesday. Members shared committee reports from strategic planning sessions, discussed concussion and Internet safety policies, renewed a contract with school superintendent Caroline Winchester, and voted to re-commission the intermediate school’s geothermal system. Superintendent Winchester shared the news that the district will be receiving over $700,000 in additional state aid this upcoming year, and high school principal Jerry Mack announced that student Geoffrey Ledbetter has been selected as a National Merit Scholarship recipient.
