Funeral services for Timothy Howard Romero, age 56, will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD. Traditional services will be provided by Ivis Long Visitor, Mike Little Boy, and Mike Catches Enemy.
 
Burial will be at the Two Bulls Family Cemetery in Oglala, SD.
 
A one-night wake service will begin at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD.
 
Timothy was born on March 13, 1961 in Pine Ridge, SD to George Romero and Roselyn Thunder Horse. He made his journey to the Spirit World on August 7, 2017 at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD.
 
Timothy is survived by spouse Martha Two Bulls of Oglala, SD; sons Colten Romero, Zuya Romero, and Morgan Two Bulls of Oglala, SD; daughters Leslie Romero of Batesland, SD, Kimberly Romero of Porcupine, SD, and Valerie Romero, Lonna Romero, Angelina Romero, Colleen Romero, and Montana Romero, all of Rapid City, SD; brothers Dallas Yellow Shield and Wayne Yellow Shield of Wounded Knee, SD; sisters Mary (Dave) Palmier, Sharon (Colynn) Condon, and Erna Yellow Shield of Wounded Knee, SD, Sheryl Yellow Shield of Pierre, SD, and Julie Romero of California; grandmother Sophie Romero of Wanblee, SD; uncle Robert Thunder Horse of Rapid City, SD; and 15 grandchildren.
 
Timothy was preceded in death by parents George Romero and Roselyn Thunder Horse-Little Bear; stepfather Dallas Little Bear Sr.; son Angel Romero; brothers Glen Yellow Shield, Cameron Romero, and Raymond Romero; maternal grandparents Alex Paul Sr. and Mary (Bad Bear) Thunder Horse; uncles Paul Thunder Horse Jr. and Tim Thunder Horse Sr.; aunts Gertrude Thunder Horse and Irene Black Elk; and one grandson.
 
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Timothy Howard Romero.
