Delora Jean Bannan passed away on February 15th, 2013 at her home.

Delora and Bob lived and worked on a ranch in rural Sioux County. They moved to Chadron, Nebraska in 1961. Delora began her college education at Chadron State College and earned her degree while raising her children and being employed.

Delora was preceded in death by her husband Robert and her parents, Jay and Dorothea Preble.

Immediate survivors include her children; Donna (Howard) Pierce of Cheyenne, WY, Mary Bannan (Royce Hardin) of Lantana, Texas, Bob Bannan of Hickory Creek, Texas, Tom Bannan (Vana) of Chadron, Nebraska and Bill Bannan (Vicki) of Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Sister, Donna (Wayne) Woodcock of Lees Summit, MO, and her brother-in-law Dick (Marjorie) Bannon of San Antonio, TX.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for American Legion Auxiliary Post 12. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE, 69337.
