Funeral services for Edward J. Garneaux, age 75, of Hot Springs, SD will be Wednesday, January 9, 2013 9:00 AM at the Brother Rene hall in Oglala, SD.
A two night wake service will be Monday, January 7, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD.
Traditional Lakota Services provided by Mr. Chris Eagle Hawk.
Burial will be Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 3:30 PM at the Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff, NE.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Winnifred (Charging Bear) Garneaux; sons, Lee and Edward II Garneaux; daughter, Beverly Hawk; great granddaughter, Gabriella Guiterez; and sisters, Lorraine, Abigail, Nina, and Pearl Garneaux.
Edward J. Garneaux of Hot Springs, SD made grand entry to the biggest most beautiful grand entry of them all. Ed enjoyed the new years pow-wow and he made grand entry on new year’s, January 1, 2013.
Ed was born on September 28, 1937 in Rosebud, SD to Winnifred Charging Bear of Norris, SD and Daniel S. Garneaux of the Wood Area. Ed will remain in our hearts forever and be deeply missed.
