Funeral services for Norman G. Rust, age 90, of Scottsbluff will be Friday, October 26, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Bates-Gould Chapel in Alliance with Reverend Tom Lucas officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 27, 2012 from 1-7:00 PM at the Bates-Gould Chapel in Alliance.
Burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Nebraska Veterans Home at Scottsbluff or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Norman G. Rust, age 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the Nebraska Veterans Home at Scottsbluff.
Norman was born on September 25, 1922 in Alliance, Nebraska to Guy and Mary (Seidler) Rust.
On October 2, 1943 he married Pauline J. Chrisman in Alliance.
Loving the outdoors, he spent much of his life farming and ranching in Dawes and Box Butte Counties. Norman truly enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his family.
Immediate Survivors:
Sons: Sterling Rust of Gering, NE; Robin (Mary) Rust of Alliance, NE; Milo (Donna) Rust of Chadron, NE.
Grandchildren: 5
Great Grandchildren: 10
Great Great Granddaughter: 1
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Pauline.
Bates-Gould Funeral Home of Alliance is in charge of the arrangements.
