- CSC Trail Visitors Asked To Stay Off New Grass
In preparation for CSC's 2017 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Cross Country trail race in October, the CSC grounds crew is seeding the running surfaces and areas for spectators. Lucinda Mays, campus horticulturist, said the buffalo grass running trails will benefit from reduced traffic over the spring and summer. Regular trail visitors are asked to be on the lookout for newly seeded spots and avoid running or walking on them. Please use either the paved trails or run on the shoulders of the grass trails, where possible. Please don't plan any group events on the grass trails. As always, keep horses or motorized vehicles off of these trails. Your help will make a big difference for the 16 school, 32-team RMAC race in October.
