06/18/2017 - Knight Museum and Sandhills Center Lecture

The Knight Museum and Sandhills Center is hosting a series of lectures offering reflections on relationships between Plains Indians and white settlers featuring a variety of speakers. A tour of the American Indian artifacts collection at the museum will be available following each lecture.
 
Sunday, June 18 at 2:00 p.m. – Amy Kucera, Executive Director at the State Historical Site and John Neihardt from the State Historical Site at Bancroft will present, “Black Elk Speaks” by John G. Neihardt.
The lecture series is sponsored by the Knight Museum and Sandhills Center, Mari Sandoz Center at Chadron State College, History Department at Chadron State College, Grace Episcopal Church in Chadron and St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Alliance.
